With over 20 years of experience co-owning a high-end flooring and design showroom in Walnut Creek, Laura has developed a unique expertise in color consulting, soft surface design, space planning, and lifestyle aesthetics. Her refined eye for color, texture, and balance has been shaped by thousands of residential and commercial projects, as well as collaborations with designers, contractors, and architects throughout the diverse Bay Area. She has worked side by side with Mitchell Barocio—her husband and partner—building a business rooted in creativity, craftsmanship, and service.

As the lead stager and staging consultant for The Barocio Group, Laura is known for transforming properties into captivating spaces that resonate with buyers and reflect a thoughtful blend of architectural integrity and lifestyle appeal. She brings a deep understanding of form, function, and flow to every home, curating soft and hard surfaces, selecting finishes, and collaborating with trusted furniture designers to showcase each property at its fullest potential. With the support of her sister Lorena, who brings a hospitality background to the staging team, Laura leads with precision, artistry, and a commitment to excellence.
